Level 1 will have 12 introductory sessions, across 10 weeks. These will include:
6 workshops on the subjects of:
Breathing | Circulation | Core | Spine | Hip | Balance
2 one-on-one sessions in mind navigation
4 freestyle workshops
With each workshop, participants will learn something new about themselves – physically, mentally and emotionally, whilst finding their path to a balanced life.
There will be no more than 10 participants in a batch. Levels 1 and 2 focus on achieving balance of body and mind, while Levels 3 and 4 work towards taking the participant deeper within, to achieve balance at a cellular and emotional level, using breath and movement.

The road to
discovery
Courses at SimplifiYoga have been designed to help people de-stress by raising their awareness and focus, juxtaposing breath with body movements.
SimplifiYoga strictly follows principles from the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, the classical 15th century manual written by Svātmārāma and helps individuals discover their strengths and limitations in a wholesome manner.
The complete program is a 4-Level course of 10 weeks each; participants can continue to higher levels if they choose to build on the foundational core of Level 1.
The course is designed for individuals who are above 40 years of age, with a curiosity and inclination to learn the basics of yoga.

It’s a great course and even without realizing it, we gradually seemed to easily adapt to
challenging poses which we thought we could never do before. I was also able to
hold most poses for a longer period of time than before.

About Shyju Varkey
Shyju’s journey began while he was still negotiating the boardrooms in corporate India as the Chief Operating Officer of one of India’s most loved radio companies. A one-month break in the Himalayas to do a yoga course in 2014, has now resulted in him setting aside a month every year to travel within. While he continues to be a student, he has gone back as a teacher to assist in both the TTC and the ATTC courses at the Sivananda ashrams, in addition to conducting workshops at one of India’s leading management schools.
Committing to help people strengthen themselves from within also led him to complete a course in Life Coaching, accredited to the International Coaching Federation.
Having spent the last decade learning yoga, Shyju wants to share it with the world at large by simplifying its seemingly complex philosophy. He wants to establish SimplifiYoga not just as a platform for teaching yoga, but one that addresses the challenges of counselling and mental wellness as well.
Shyju draws purpose and joy through the positive experiences participants have from the program. Today, these include individuals as far flung as California, Washington DC, Columbus, Austin, London, Vienna, Dubai, Singapore, and Brunei, in addition to cities all over India.
